Renowned Nigerian movie actor, widely recognized as Mr Ibu, has sadly passed away at the age of 62. The legendary actor, whose real name is John Okarfor, is reported to have breathed his last at Evercare Hospital in Nigeria, as confirmed by multiple sources close to him.

The news of his demise has led to an outpouring of condolences on various social media platforms, where numerous Nollywood fans are expressing their sympathy and fondly recalling Mr Ibu's exceptional acting prowess.

The cause of his death is yet unknown because his immediate family has not yet released a statement. Since October of the previous year, Mr. Ibu had been dealing with health issues and had undergone limb amputation surgery. His family had already issued a statement confirming his recovery, despite early worries.
