On Friday, March 1, a tragic accident unfolded involving two vehicles, resulting in the loss of several lives. The incident occurred on Busia Road and involved a Tahmeed bus and a fuel tanker trailer. While investigations are still underway and body identifications are taking place in hospitals, recent details shed light on the cause of the accident.

Reports indicate that the accident transpired when the truck driver, in violation of traffic rules, failed to adhere to his designated lane. The collision occurred as the truck driver attempted to overtake another vehicle, resulting in the unfortunate incident.

In one such incident, a fuel tanker erupted into flames, resulting in the passengers being burned beyond recognition. The 36-year-old trailer driver lost his life at the scene, while the driver of the Tahmeed bus sustained injuries to both legs.
