The Nebraska State Patrol was called to the Lincoln prison on Wednesday after receiving word that a visitor was attempting to offer an inmate contraband.

Authorities spoke with Alicia Cain, who had visited Dylan Doebelin that morning.

According to the affidavit, Cain stated that Doebelin asked her to deliver him methamphetamine via the jail messaging program and prison calls while he was incarcerated. She claimed she purchased the drugs and transported them to prison by inserting plastic-wrapped balls of meth into her belly button.

According to court filings, Cain stated she took a bowl and filled it with candy and plastic-wrapped meth balls before placing it on the table in front of Doebelin.

Authorities also obtained permission to check her car and phone.

According to court records, authorities discovered two pipes and synthetic cannabinoids inside the vehicle, as well as communications from the jail messaging app in which Doebelin and Cain used "code words" to arrange the drugs to be delivered.
