On Monday, social media influencer and content creator Corazon Kwamboka came across images circulating online featuring a woman named Metrine Okumu. The pictures showed Metrine with severe facial swelling, suggesting she had been a victim of physical assault by her husband, resulting in notable injuries.
Prompted by this, Corazon Kwamboka is actively searching for Metrine to extend her assistance. She has urged Kenyans with any connection to Metrine to facilitate contact, expressing her intent to explore avenues for helping her.

Reportedly, Metrine had trailed her husband to a bar to inquire about food. To her dismay, she discovered him in the company of his mistress. In a disturbing turn of events, both individuals poured alcohol on her and subjected her to a physical assault, resulting in severe injuries.
"I went to ask him about food, and he was seated down with another lady drinking alcohol. They took the alcohol, poured it on me, and they began to beat me," Metrine said
The incident unfolded on Saturday in Busia, and images of Metrine circulated on Monday. According to reports, she was admitted to the Busia County and Referral Hospital.
Kenyans have vehemently condemned the heinous act, with many calling for decisive action against Metrine's husband. Corazon Kwamboka has also extended a helping hand to the 42-year-old woman from Busia.
