Thousands of tributes have been pouring in today honoring the life of much-loved YouTube star Jessica Pettway, who has tragically passed away aged 36 following a delayed cervical cancer diagnosis.
The America-born beauty influencer died on 11 March following her devastating health scare, with the news being confirmed by her sister Reyni Brown.
Taking to Instagram, Jessica's loved ones wrote a heartbreaking tribute to the social media sensation.
Sharing a snap alongside her sister, Reyni wrote: "It’s my birthday today, and the only thing I could ever wish for is for God to bring you back on this earth.
"I lost my beautiful big sister 2 days ago and my heart has never felt pain like this."
She went on to describe Jessica the 'the most amazing, strong, confident' person she'd ever met, who 'filled' her life 'with so much wisdom, prayed for me, and helped me become a better mother'.
"Life will never be the same without her crazy laugh, pranks, or jokes. Loosing a sibling feels like a connection between us was destroyed. I love you with all my heart."
Jessica - who is survived by her daughters Kailee, 10, and Zoi Lee, three - had only disclosed her life-altering diagnosis in July last year, after her condition was previously been misdiagnosed as something else.
Taking to social media, the lifestyle frontrunner opened up about having suffered 'intense bleeding' for some time.
One morning, however, her husband of 12 years - who she told her followers she'd met at the shopping mall then they were teenagers - found her unresponsive and not breathing in the bathroom.
They rushed to hospital, where Pettway was told her ‘extreme’ blood loss was due to ‘fibroids’, and a gynaecologist told her not to worry as her symptoms were ‘normal’.
After being rushed to hospital, mother-of-two Jessica was originally diagnosed as having had fibroids - non-cancerous tumours growing in the uterus - with a gynaecologist reportedly dismissing her symptoms as 'normal'.
Sensing at the time that she was being treated for the wrong condition, Jessica received a second opinion, sharing the heartbreaking news in February last year that she'd been diagnosed with cervical cancer.
Despite the stomach-wrenching news, the star continued to remain hopeful over her health.
She told her followers at the time: "Being told I have cancer didn't devastate me. It was the reaction of those close to me.
"I knew that God is my healer and that no weapon formed against me, not even cancer, would prosper. I knew that I am more than a conqueror and that I will get through this."
