President Vladimir Putin has vowed to punish all those responsible for the assault, which killed 137 people and injured 182 others.
Over 100 individuals remained in the hospital, some in bad condition. On Sunday evening, video footage showed a somber-looking Putin lighting a candle at a church outside his Moscow apartment to remember those who perished.
Earlier on Sunday, fans left flowers outside Crocus City arena, a 6,200-seat performance arena outside Moscow, where four armed men stormed in just before Soviet-era rock trio Picnic was about to perform their classic "Afraid of Nothing." The guys shot their automatic guns in short bursts at people, who collapsed screaming.
The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the incident. Still, Putin has not publicly addressed the Islamist militant group about the assailants, whom he claims were attempting to flee to Ukraine. He stated that those on "the Ukrainian side" were prepared to transport the shooters across the border.
