Joy Garden Primary School's three instructors and two directors who had been detained after a student died are now permitted to return to their jobs.

Following a modification of its previous rulings prohibiting them from entering or leaving the institution situated in Nairobi's Umoja-Tena neighborhood, this is what happened.

The five are Jane Waithera Kimani, Venice Kerubo Bosire, Anthony Mwangi Kimani, Caroline Nthio Matheka, and James Mungai Gachimo.

Concurrently, the court will render a decision regarding the issuance of Antony Mwangi Kimani's passport, which would enable him to leave the jurisdiction. Kimani requested the release of her passport so she could visit the UK.

The prosecution objected to the application, claiming that since the investigation is ongoing, the passport should not be made public.

The Grade 8 boy died inexplicably, and the school reported that he fell from the seventh floor of the building housing the school. This led to the arrest of the five.

Wesley Njiru's family, however, has refuted the school's assertion that their son passed away due to a fall.
