The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has rubbished news published by K24 claiming that Nigerian singer Davido was arrested at JKIA with drugs.

A post on X, formerly known as Twitter, claimed the allegations were fake.

K24, however, claimed that the news was just an April Fools' Day prank. According to the prank, Davido and his seven crew members were detained at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) after a check of his private plane revealed narcotic narcotics.

The Anti-Narcotics Police Unit at JKIA apprehended Davido and his team, according to the report.
