Residents of Nyatwere village in Homa Bay County are in mourning following the Saturday evening electrocution death of three family members.
Electrocution claimed the lives of two brothers, Elijah and Isaiah Otieno, and their sister-in-law, Lavender Otieno, in an instant.
According to Adienge, the woman was attacked as soon as she reached the metal clothesline and cried out for assistance before passing away there.
When the two brothers who were present at the time of the tragedy came into contact with their sister-in-law, whose body was still hanging on the clothesline, they were tragically electrocuted as well and perished instantaneously.

According to the administrator, their initial inquiry has shown that someone from the hamlet who was ignorant of energy connections connected the power at Laventer's home.
