According to reports, Narok police have arrested a person they believe to be a drug dealer and seized 28 kg of marijuana.

Area Sub-County Police Commander John Momanyi states that at 4 a.m., the police were notified of the existence of a bhang store that a reputable drug dealer was operating.

Despite the accomplice eluding the police dragnet, he said, one suspect was captured by the authorities.

According to the head of police, a search is in progress for the fugitive female suspect.

Momanyi added that because she had an open police case, the suspect was already on the police's radar.

Citing the female suspect who escaped two weeks ago after being arrested with five bags of bang and paying a bond of one million dollars, the police chief urged those in the judiciary not to issue bonds to those who are arrested more than twice. The chief further urged the court not to release the suspect if she is arrested again.
