Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has highlighted the Kenya Kwanza government's commitment to guaranteeing the success of the nation's affordable housing program. 

The DP emphasized the program's successes, noting that thousands of families have been able to rely on the project for their livelihoods, during his visit to the Majimbo affordable housing program in Embu, he examined the progress.

The national housing cooperative, the Embu county government, and the artisans signed an agreement that the DP also observed.

Additionally, the program has contributed to a decrease in vices like drug and alcohol abuse.


“Ile pombe ambayo inaharibu watoto wetu tumepigana nayo. We want a sober nation kwa sababu hii kazi haiwezi fanywa na watu wametumia pombe na drug abuse. Hii program inatusaidia sana kupigana na pombe,” Gachagua said.

The deputy president urged Kenyans with the necessary skills to enroll in recognition of prior learning programs to receive certification.
