Police officers have released a video and pictures of a guy suspected to have killed and dismembered JKUAT student Rita Waeni in an Airbnb in Roysambu.

The January 13 death is linked to occultism. The missing head was eventually discovered in a dam in Kiambu and identified by her parents during the autopsy.

In the video, a skinny young man wearing dark glasses and appearing in his late twenties can be seen strolling beside the fourth-year student.
Her mutilated body was discovered in black bags in the Roysambu flat garbage. Her corpse had been cut apart with a hacksaw.
Waeni, a fourth-year student, can be seen to the right of the suspect, dressed in a white baseball cap, black pants, a black pullover, and white sneakers.
One of the clips from the film shows him smiling. The white baseball cap is pushed low over his forehead. This, along with his dark spectacles, makes him tough to recognize. His face is hardly visible.
He put the body pieces in plastic bags, placed them in the apartment's rubbish and vanished. The landlord told authorities that the suspect paid for the accommodation using M-Pesa on Saturday, January 13, at 3 p.m.
According to the family, Waeni left her aunt's home in Syokimau, Machakos County, to meet a friend.
Rita Waeni was buried in a private ceremony on 5th February at her parents' house in Mukimwani village, Kisau location, Makueni County.
