Zulu Adigwe, a veteran Nollywood actor and singer, has passed away, marking another loss in the film industry following the recent deaths of Junior Pope Odonwodo and John Okafor, also known as Mr Ibu.
The news of Adigwe's demise was shared by movie producer Stanley Nwoko in a post on his Instagram page on Tuesday.
Mourning the actor, Nwoko wrote, “Rest in peace, good actor.”
Adigwe's passing comes just two weeks after Junior Pope and three other Nollywood actors tragically lost their lives in a boat accident on the Anam River.
Hailing from Enugu, Adigwe was renowned for his portrayal of fatherly roles in Nollywood films.

His breakthrough role came as Mr. B in the popular sitcom “Basi and Company.”
He also appeared in the highly successful 2019 movie “Living in Bondage: Breaking Free.”
While initially born in Enugu State and spending his formative years there, he eventually relocated to Austria, where he completed his primary and secondary education.
Before pursuing acting, he delved into the study of French and German, served as a teacher, and briefly pursued Medicine before returning to Nigeria following his father's passing.
Upon his return, he enrolled at the University of Ibadan to pursue a degree in Theatre Arts, ultimately graduating with First Class Honours.
