Police are investigating the death of a 28-year-old man whose body was found inside his house at Hulwik village, Karadolo East, Siaya County, on Wednesday evening.
Confirming the incident, Siaya County Police Commander Cleti Kimaiyo said the body of the man who worked as a herdsman was discovered lying in the sitting room of his house.
He said the body had no visible physical injuries.
However, it was established that the deceased had been sick and was under medication.
Mr Kimaiyo said the body was removed to a private mortuary in Sega town, awaiting post-mortem.

Elsewhere in Siaya, the body of a 19-year-old woman was on Wednesday evening found at her house at Obenge Beach after a suspected suicide.
Mr Kimaiyo said after police visited the scene, they found the body still hanging and upon preliminary investigations, established that the woman's husband was in the lake at the time of the incident.
The woman’s body was moved to the Madiany sub-county hospital mortuary as investigations began into the matter.
