One hundred twenty riders on Bolt, a ride-hailing platform, have been selected to undergo a one-month entrepreneurial training course under its Accelerator Program in Kenya.
The drivers will be trained on online business through the Bolt Academy and Alison, an online training platform.
Bolt Regional Director of Rides for Africa, Caroline Wanjihia, says the initiative will sharpen their entrepreneurial skills, opening up future career opportunities for them.
“ As a company, we are not solely fostering business growth; we are also committed to empowering and creating greater opportunities for our key partners on our platform.”
The participants will be trained in courses ranging from digital marketing to leadership skills, project management, customer relationship management, entrepreneurship, and communication skills.
