MOGO has opened its first electric motorbike showroom in Nairobi, targeting boda boda operators to foster the adoption of environmentally friendly transportation in the country.
Located along Jogoo Road, the showroom is part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its presence in Kenya.
MOGO's head of boda boda sales, Johannes Vohma, asserted that the move will have far-reaching effects on the country's rollout of e-mobility.
“The launch of our first electric motorbike store in the country underscores MOGO’s commitment to transforming the transport sector to green mobility.”
Over the past year, Mogo has partnered with various e-bike manufacturers, including Ampersand, Roam, Fika, Spark, and Spiro, to provide affordable financing options for boda boda riders seeking to transition to e-bikes.
