The world’s brand valuation consultancy Brand Finance has named Equity Bank Kenya’s most valuable company, coming from regional and local expansions.

According to Brand Finance’s latest data, Equity recorded a 1 percent increase in brand value to Sh65.8 billion despite challenging economic circumstances.

“Equity Bank has once again been confirmed as Kenya’s most valuable brand, with a brand value increase of 1% to Kes 65.8 billion, according to new data from Brand Finance, the world’s leading brand valuation consultancy."

“This achievement positions Equity Bank at the pinnacle of the Kenyan financial sector, showcasing robust growth and resilience even in challenging economic circumstances,” Equity Bank said.

Additionally, CIC Insurance Group emerged as the fastest-growing brand in Kenya, with a 63 percent surge in brand value to Sh1.9 billion, attributed to an increased Brand Strength Index score of 82.98.

Furthermore, the report shows that NCBA, Centum Investment Company, and Kenya Airways (KQ) posted growths of 44 percent to Kes 19.7 billion, 36 percent to Kes 713.8 million, and 38 percent to Kes 6.4 billion, respectively.
