A 29-year-old mother of two has been found guilty of murdering her husband in 2018 in Eldoret.
Melisa Muhinda, a mother of two, and a boda boda rider named Ekiru Amatuka were convicted guilty of murdering Geofrey Matenje on October 6, 2018, in Kamukunji, Eldoret town.
Eldoret High Court judge Reuben Nyakundi ruled that the prosecution provided sufficient evidence in court to establish that the two were engaged in the murder of Matenje, who worked as a newspaper seller.

Muhinda hacked her husband in 2018, disfigured him, and hid his body in a sack.
Muhinda contacted Amatuka and hired his boda boda to assist her in transporting the mangled body parts.
A suspicious public member approached them, and Amatuka fled, leaving Muhinda behind.
