The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) has granted LemFi additional regulatory approval to provide remittance services in Kenya.
RightCard, which operates under LemFi, says the approval allows it to partner with local partners.
LemFi strategically launched its operations in Kenya in June last year, capitalizing on the country’s burgeoning remittance market.
Its market includes Kenyans living in the United States of America (USA), the United Kingdom (UK), and Canada, among others.
The mobile app allows for foreign transfers directly to one’s M-Pesa account.
