A video of a loose lioness scaling the perimeter wall of a residence in Rongai has left residents worried.

In the video, the lioness is seen roaming around before scaling a perimeter wall into a family compound, it later emerges with a dog it had killed.

Residents had earlier complained of their animals and pets mysteriously disappearing, and now they knew why.

An anonymous mail confirmed the lions' invasion.

It says, "The animal eating our dogs is a lioness." There's no reason to speculate anymore. My CCTV cameras saw her at about 9 p.m. (the precise time in the films) at (Neighbour's) gate before she went over my front gate and returned with my Rottweiler.

"It is painful to lose a friend who always welcomes me at the gate whenever I come back home!"

On May 16, the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) warned residents of Lang'ata in Nairobi about three lions wandering the neighborhood.

The wildlife service got complaints about the three lions after they were supposedly spotted near Langata Women's Prison in Nairobi.

In response, KWS quickly mobilized a crew to search the area comprehensively.

However, after a long night of looking for wild creatures, they could not locate the lions.

"KWS continues to monitor the situation actively and is on high alert. KWS stated that the public's safety is its primary concern.

The wildlife agency has not told the public whether the lions were discovered.
