A senior National Intelligence Service (NIS) officer committed suicide at his home in Kilimani.
The high-ranking officer at the civilian intelligence agency prompted suspicion after failing to arrive at work on Tuesday morning as normal.
His phone went unanswered, and police say his coworkers traced him down to his home, where he is claimed to have shot himself.
According to sources, the officer left behind a suicide note.
