Police are investigating an incident where a tractor driver was found dead in his house after he had complained of chest pain in Makuyu, Murang’a County.

According to police, the man, identified as Benson Gicheru, had arrived home and informed his wife he had chest pain.

He later retired to bed and asked his wife to wake him up at 4 am so he could go to work at a nearby farm.

The wife told police she tried to wake him up in vain. He had died in the night.

Elsewhere, police are investigating an incident where the body of a 48-year-old man was found in his bedroom long after he had died in Tena Estate in Nairobi.

Police were called to the scene, helped to clear it, and moved the body of Dennis Wabwire to the mortuary.

According to police, the cause of the death is yet to be known.

Further, police in Nairobi County are investigating an incident where a Japanese woman collapsed and died in her house in Ndonyo Park apartment in the Spring Valley area.

According to police, the woman, Yoshimo Saito, was with her husband when the incident happened on Sunday night.

She collapsed in her sitting room while her husband was studying.

The husband told police he heard the woman scream, and when he rushed to check what was happening, he found her holding her chest.

She complained of pain, prompting the man to administer first aid to her as he called for an ambulance to take her to the hospital.

The ambulance arrived, and medics confirmed she had died.

Police were called to the scene and cleared it before the body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and investigations.
