Attorney General (AG) Justin Muturi’s son Leslie Muturi has been released after being reportedly kidnapped on Saturday night in Lavington area, Nairobi.
According to his friends who had raised an alarm of his abduction, Muturi "had been found and released in a police station where he was kidnapped.”
Embakasi West MP Mark Mwenje revealed in a video that Leslie had been abducted and his car had been abandoned by the road.

He was reportedly confronted by unidentified individuals shortly after leaving a lounge on Dennis Pritt Road.
Further, he revealed that they dragged him from his car and bundled him into a getaway vehicle, which sped away immediately.
The motive for the businessman's kidnapping remained unknown, fueling speculation on social media, where debate over the Finance Bill 2024 has been rife.
