American rapper Snoop Dogg will participate in the final leg of the Olympic flame relay ahead of the Paris 2024 Games.
Snoop Dogg will carry the torch through Saint-Denis, a culturally diverse suburb in northern Paris, which hosts the Olympic Stadium and Aquatics Centre. Saint-Denis mayor Mathieu Hanotin shared this exciting news with AFP on Monday.
Notable figures like French actress Laetitia Casta, French rapper MC Solaar, and Ukrainian retired pole vaulter Sergey Bubka will join Snoop Dogg in Saint-Denis.
The Olympic flame has traveled across France for two months and will arrive in Saint-Denis on Friday morning. It will pass through the athletes' village between Saint-Denis and Saint-Ouen before reaching the Olympic Stadium and Aquatics Centre.
