Michelle Mvundla, also known as Mpho Wa Badimo and the winner of Big Brother Mzansi, shared an emotional tribute following the loss of her mother.

The mother of two and BONA 2023 cover star Elizabeth Nonjebo Mvundla passed away, and she announced her mother's demise on Instagram. She disclosed in her statement that her mother died following a brief illness.

She captions, “With heavy hearts and deepest sorrows on behalf of the Mvundla family, we are saddened to announce the passing of our mother, Elizabeth Nonjebo Mvundla. Our mother was everything to us and we can never forget who and what she was in our lives as a matriarch. Although right now our hearts are heavy with indescribable pain, we are hopeful that the sun will rise again and we will learn to live with the pain of losing our mother.”



Later, Mpho expressed her gratitude to everyone for their unwavering support throughout this trying time and to the funeral home for providing her with a respectable farewell.

In 2022, Mpho won the grand prize of R2 million where Gashwen Brandon ‘Gash1’ Mthombeni was the runner-up for that season. She also featured in Themba ‘Broly’ Mabaso’s reality TV show, Themba: My Inked World.
