Recovery efforts are still on to recover the body of a 19-year-old man who fell over the Dongo Kundu bridge in Likoni, Mombasa County.
According to police, Mwandia Mwatela was crossing to the opposite side of the elevated highway's unused lane when the accident occurred at 6 p.m.
"As he crossed over to the other side, unfortunately, he landed through the incomplete section into the Indian Ocean," the Vijiweni police station OCS said in a report.
