Russia carried out a series of attacks on Ukraine's northern, eastern, and southern regions, resulting in at least four deaths and 37 injuries.
Overnight strikes hit the frontline areas of Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Donetsk, as reported by Ukraine's air force on Telegram.
The strikes are part of Russia's ongoing bombardment of Ukrainian border regions. Ukraine's recent surprise incursion into Russia's Kursk region was intended to disrupt Moscow's capability to launch such attacks.

In Sumy, a missile attack claimed the life of one person and left at least 16 others injured, including three children, according to local authorities on Telegram.
Oleh Sinehubov, the governor of the Kharkiv region, reported that 13 people were injured in the attacks, among them a 4-year-old child. Kharkiv city’s mayor, Ihor Terekhov, added that a gas pipeline was damaged, and at least two houses were destroyed, with ten more injured.
According to the Air Force, Ukraine's air defense systems managed to shoot down eight out of nine attack drones launched by Russia over the Mykolaiv region.
The southern Kherson region also faced continuous Russian attacks throughout the day, resulting in one death and six injuries, as reported by Roman Mrochko, head of Kherson city's military administration.
Additionally, Sumy regional prosecutors confirmed that an aerial bomb struck a residential neighborhood in Svesa village on Sunday afternoon, killing two people and injuring two others.
Reuters has not independently verified these reports, and Russia has yet to comment. Both Russia and Ukraine deny targeting civilians in the conflict, which began with Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
