The MGallery Hotel Collection has unveiled the Gem Forest Hotel in Gigiri, Nairobi County, as it expands its footprint in Africa.
The move is part of French Accor Group’s ambitious expansion strategy in East Africa, targeting the diplomatic market as a key clientele.
Speaking during the launch, MGallery’s Vice President of Operations for Africa, Mauritius, Reunion, and Seychelles, Mehdi Mora, emphasized the importance of Nairobi in the group’s regional growth plans.
“Nairobi is a very important location for us. We believe in the dynamics of the region. We are looking forward to expanding our presence in other countries like Uganda.”
Mehdi stated that the Gem Forest Hotel boasts zero plastic use and employs artificial intelligence (AI) to monitor and reduce its carbon footprint.
