The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has revoked the operating licenses of 121 Public Service Vehicle (PSV) operators for violating traffic regulations. Among the suspended operators are 2K-NN Savings and Credit Co-Operative Society Limited/Ngorika Line Travellers Company Limited, 2MK Modern Co. Limited, 2ML Sacco Society Limited, and 2TS Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Limited.

Other operators affected by the suspension include Kasarani Trans Limited, Kazana Travellers Services Limited, Kemoa Safaris Sacco Ltd, Kericho Travelers Savings and Credit Co-Operative Society, Kienya Travellers Sacco Ltd, Kimawa Express Sacco Ltd, Kwanza Kobos Sacco, Libera Executive Limited, as well as 3KEN Savings and Credit Co-Operative Society Limited, 8B Savings and Credit Co-Operative Society Ltd, City Tram Shuttle Limited, and Joy Kenya Services Limited.


In a statement, NTSA announced, "This is to notify the public that the Authority has suspended 121 PSVs-Public Transport Operators (PTOs) for failing to comply with Section 5(1) of the National Transport and Safety Authority (Operation of PSV Regulations) 2014."

The public has been advised not to use vehicles belonging to these suspended operators. Additionally, traffic police across the country have been directed to impound any vehicles from the suspended Saccos or companies that continue to operate despite the suspension.

"The Traffic Department has been instructed to seize any vehicles from the 121 Saccos/Companies found operating in violation of the suspension," NTSA added.
