A 25-year-old blogger, Bruce John Chawa, has finally opened up about the horrific ordeal he endured after being abducted and sodomized by a group for being a fierce critic of Mombasa governor Abdulswamad.
Speaking from the hospital bed, Bruce claims that his house was broken into in the middle of the night by a group of twenty men. The men claimed police were taking him to the governor to ask for forgiveness for his previous utterances.
He claims that things changed when they got to the hotel, as he was transferred to a different car and driven away. He claims that his head was covered by a sack as the men in the vehicle assaulted him.
Chawa continues to narrate that they were later joined by the group of men who had abducted him from his house. The men allegedly pushed him to the ground, saying they were going to teach him a lesson for criticizing Governor Abdulswamad Nassir.

He narrates that at least two men savagely sodomized him while the rest of the men watched and recorded the entire ordeal. The group threatened to leak the video of the assault if Chawa ever spoke of the governor or the incident again.
According to Chawa, he was put back in the car, and as he was being driven away, the governor allegedly called the men to confirm if the job was done before agreeing to send them money for some food.
