Following the impeachment of Rigathi Gachagua, Kithure Kindiki has been nominated as Kenya's next Deputy President, prompting an outpouring of congratulations from leaders across the country.

Among the first to extend her congratulations was Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru. She expressed her sincere support for Kindiki, acknowledging the significant responsibility that comes with the role. Waiguru also expressed gratitude to those who supported her bid for the position, reaffirming her commitment to working towards a better Kenya under President William Ruto and Deputy President nominee Kindiki.

East African Legislative Assembly MP Maina Karobia Mwangi commended Kindiki’s visionary leadership, stating that Kenya would greatly benefit from his guidance. Similarly, National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah urged Kindiki to serve with dedication and zeal, emphasizing the importance of unity in moving the country forward.


Roads and Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen expressed his excitement over Kindiki’s nomination, stating that no one is more deserving of the role. He voiced confidence in Kindiki's ability to help the nation navigate its challenges and lead it to new heights.

Millicent Omanga, in her message, highlighted Kindiki’s leadership, work ethic, and vision, expressing her belief that he would excel in this new chapter of his career. She wished him success and noted that his nomination was a testament to his dedication.

Energy and Petroleum Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandayi also congratulated Kindiki, expressing confidence that he would serve with patriotism and foster unity for the country's progress. Similarly, Cotu Secretary-General Francis Atwoli offered his congratulations on behalf of Kenyan workers, wishing Kindiki Godspeed.


Other notable figures who shared their support included Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, and Forestry Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale, who voiced his trust in Kindiki's leadership to steer the country toward prosperity. Internal Security and National Administration PS Raymond Omollo praised Kindiki’s relentless dedication to public service, while Senator Aron Cheruiyot applauded him for his mentorship in politics.
