Three people died on Sunday night after a truck ferrying goods from Gusii veered and knocked people along the road in Kijauri, Nyamira County.
According to police, the Canter’s brakes failed.
The bodies of the deceased were taken to Nyansiongo mortuary.
This comes a few days after two bodaboda operators died following an accident involving a matatu and two motorbikes at Ololulunga junction along the Narok-Bomet highway.
According to police, the matatu was heading to Bomet from Narok while one of the motorbikes was heading towards Narok.

Further, police indicated that the second motorbike, which was joining the highway, rammed into the Narok-bound motorbike.
The two bodaboda riders lost control of their motorbikes, colliding with the matatu belonging to Trans Luxury Sacco.
Bodies of the two have been taken to Narok Referral Hospital mortuary.
