The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has made another breakthrough in the case of Wells Fargo HR Manager Willis Ayieko's brutal murder, arresting a new suspect linked to the crime.
Duncan Onyango, known by the alias Otuch, was apprehended in Bondo, Kisumu County, where he had been hiding. According to police, Onyango’s residence has been confirmed as the site where Ayieko was allegedly tortured and killed.
The DCI shared that detectives conducted a scene reenactment with one of the previously detained suspects, who identified Onyango’s home as the crime scene. Authorities revealed that Ayieko's body was discovered roughly 400 meters from Onyango’s house in Luanda Doho, Kisa East, Kakamega County.

Currently, Onyango remains in custody as he awaits his upcoming court appearance. His arrest comes shortly after the detention of another suspect, Fredrick Otieno Omondi, a boda boda rider accused of assisting in Ayieko's abduction and murder. Omondi is believed to have transported the primary suspect, Victor Ouma—also known as Sisco—to the scene of the crime.
Police reports suggest that Omondi used his motorcycle to ferry Ouma to where Ayieko was abducted. In a related development, officers in Kisumu recently shot and killed another suspect, Robert Okoth, identified as Ouma’s brother and a participant in the crime.
The DCI continues to follow multiple leads in the ongoing investigation to uncover the full circumstances behind Ayieko’s tragic death.
