A middle-aged man tragically collapsed and died at Premier Guest House on Second Avenue, Eastleigh, Nairobi, on Tuesday, November 26. Meanwhile, police in Kirinyaga County are searching for a miraa driver involved in a deadly accident on the Mwea-Embu highway on Tuesday night. According to Mwea-East Sub-County Police Commander Mohammed Jarso, the driver was speeding and overtaking another vehicle when his car struck two children riding on a motorcycle near Ngurubani. The accident occurred at spikes erected by the Kirinyaga County Government to collect cess.

A 12-year-old boy from Ngurubani Primary School died on the spot, while a 7-year-old from Thiba Primary School succumbed to injuries at Mwea Mission Hospital. Both bodies are now at a local mortuary as police investigate.
