Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has commended Kenya’s economic recovery and social development strides, attributing the progress to President William Ruto’s reform-focused leadership.
Speaking during a Thanksgiving service at Gospel Outreach Church in Kyuso, Kindiki outlined critical achievements of the Kenya Kwanza administration while calling for unity and responsible leadership.
Highlighting economic milestones, the DP noted that inflation has dropped to a 17-year low, fuel and food prices have stabilized, and the Kenyan shilling has strengthened. He credited these improvements to initiatives such as Affordable Housing and the export of skilled labor.
Kindiki stressed the need for national cohesion, urging leaders and citizens to resolve differences through dialogue. "We must prioritize unity by focusing on shared goals and amicably addressing disputes. Development projects will benefit every part of the country without discrimination," he assured.

He also warned against incitement and actions that threaten constitutional order. “Kenya’s progress depends on peace. Leaders must avoid encouraging violence or destruction, as these contradict our constitutional principles,” Kindiki emphasized.
Addressing healthcare reforms, Kindiki highlighted the ongoing success of the Taifa Care initiative, designed to deliver affordable and inclusive healthcare. With 15 million Kenyans already enrolled, he called for broader participation and promised improvements to the program for greater efficiency.
The service was attended by prominent leaders, including MPs, senators, and county officials, reflecting a shared commitment to Kenya’s progress.
