President William Ruto has reshuffled his Cabinet, reassigning Sports Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen to the Interior Ministry, a role previously held by Kithure Kindiki, who is now serving as Deputy President.
The changes, announced on Thursday by Head of Public Service Felix Koskei, also included the transfer of Salim Mvurya from the Investments, Trade, and Industry Ministry to the Youth Affairs, Creative Economy, and Sports Ministry, replacing Murkomen.
Additionally, former Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui has been nominated to lead the Trade Ministry, taking over from Mvurya.
