The Cabinet Secretary (CS) has issued a scathing criticism of national security authorities, demanding accountability for the disappearance of young Kenyans, including his own son, who was abducted in June 2024.

Speaking on the matter, the CS revealed the emotional toll on his family, stating, *"I have personally suffered as my son was abducted, leaving my family in turmoil. I've not gotten any answers as to why my son was abducted, held incommunicado, and nobody gave any reasons for that abduction."*

His remarks have sparked controversy, with some political leaders, including National Assembly Majority Whip Sylvanus Osoro, threatening the CS with impeachment unless he apologizes to President William Ruto.

**CS Responds Boldly to Threats**

In a defiant response, the CS dismissed the threats and vowed to stand his ground against his critics. *"I will just say bring it on. At my age, I’m not the kind of person to respond to some perfunctory statements made by fairly inexperienced politicians. I think they’re not worthy of my response,"* he stated.

He added, *"So if anybody thinks that I don’t know what I was doing, they’re up for a rude shock."*

The CS’s remarks have intensified political tensions, with critics accusing him of undermining the government while supporters praise his courage in demanding justice for his family and others affected by the disappearances.
