City lawyer danstan omari has secured bail for his client eric omondi and 16 others arrested on Tuesday for participating in an unlawful assembly.

After being detained for staging a protest outside parliament, Eric Omondi was hosted by the state last night. Eric arrived at the Nairobi Central Police Station and was placed in a cell with other thieves and criminals. His visit to the central police station is not his first. However, it was his first time spending the night there.

after his arrest, the king of comedy posted a story on his Instagram with the caption, "Although we are currently sleeping on the ground in the dark, the sun will rise tomorrow,"

their lawyer, danstan omari, said that his clients went to parliament buildings to seek a solution to the increased cost of living in the country, adding that eric and the 16 others were representing the millions of kenyans who were starving. They were released on a cash bail of 10,000 shillings each, pending a pre-trial hearing on March 6.

Danstan Omari is facing legal troubles of his own after being summoned by the DCI to answer questions regarding the alleged raid that happened at the residence of the former interior cs fred matiangiIn a letter addressed to the lawyer by detective Michael K. Sang, omari was instructed to report to their offices on Wednesday, February 22, at 8:00 a.m.

According to the officer, he is "investigating allegations of Publication of Falsified Information contrary to Section 23 of the Computer Misuse and Cyber Crimes Act 2018, amongst other offences, in relation to the alleged invasion and raid of Dr. Fred Matiang'i's residence on the 8th and 9th of February 2023 allegedly by a "battalion" and/or "garrison" of police officers."

Danstan Omari is also the lawyer representing david, pkosing the member of parliament for the pokot South constituency; David is accused of funding bandits in the northern rift region of Kenya.
