Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the son of Uganda president Yoweri Museveni strikes again by saying that he is ready to mediate between Russia and Ukraine.

Muhoozi, who is a general in the Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF), tweeted using Putin's picture, saying that he will soon begin his great tour to the countries to the north and that he will start by visiting his Russian hero, Vladimir Putin adding that he will also visit His Excellency Zelensky, President of Ukraine. It's time to bring this insane war to an end, he concluded.

muhoozi is a fierce supporter of the Russian president and has sung praise to the leader, saying that Putin's stand in the war is right. he has voiced his support for Russia in the ongoing war, even tweeting that an attack on Russia is an attack on africa.

However, the Ugandan government has insisted that muhoozi's opinions on his Twitter page are his own and do not reflect the views of the entire country.

The Ugandan general is not new to controversy. Last year he threatened to capture nairobi twice. In his rants on Twitter, he said that it would only take him two weeks to capture nairobi. Muhoozi has expressed his desire to succeed his father as the president of the country. Yoweri Museveni has ruled Uganda for over 30 years since taking power in 1986
