President Ruto has affirmed his support for women's development, saying that his government will triple the resources available for women.
Speaking during the relaunch of the women's enterprise fund, saying that the amount they have been getting has been stagnant for the last 15 years, but he will triple it.
"The funds available under the women's enterprise fund have been at Ksh.4.5B for the last 15 years, we are going to triple the resources available under that fund so that we can also triple the number of women groups that will benefit from the fund "President William Ruto
"We are going to eliminate bureaucracy and intermediaries so that women groups can access money directly from the Women Enterprise Fund kitty", he added

the head of state went on to say that he wants to tell the women of Kenya that in the next one to one & a half years, the government will have concluded the program on affirmative action so that more women can join them in the National Assembly and the Senate.
"I have confirmed through experience that women are braver than men. Threats, blackmail & intimidation characterised the last election, & many men who were my friends came to me at night to tell me they could not be associated with me because they had been threatened"President Ruto.
President ruto went on to thank women, saying that Statistics show that in the last general election, more women than men voted for him. His deputy agreed with his sentiments, saying that Kenya would be in big trouble if not for women.
