The Kajiado county assembly has approved the motions to remove two County Executive Committee from office due to gross misconduct, maladministration, abuse of office and incompetence.
The two CECs facing removal are the member for Education, Vocational Training, Youth, and Sports Mr. Jeremiah Ole Ncharo and his counterpart for Public Service Administration, Social Services, Citizen Participation and Inspectorate Services, Mr Alais Kisota.
The adoption of two motions is being moved by Mosiro MCA Jonathan Koroine and Ngong MCA Joshua Mbiriri against the two CECMs.
Speaking at the chambers after the adoption of the two motions, Kajiado County Assembly Speaker Justus Ngossor directed that a special committee comprising five members look into the allegations.
“Once the committee has been constituted and approved by the Assembly, it has ten days to consider the matter and report back to the County Assembly,” said Ngossor
