Priscah was married to Ababu Namwamba for over seven years, and the two are blessed with three children. The two separated in 2019 over accusations of infidelity after years of being together.

In an earlier interview, Priscah's brother, Patrick Mwaro, stated that efforts to reconcile the couple had hit a snag because Ababu refused to accept Priscah back.

"I have told him that he is part of our family since they have three children with Priscah, and in such cases, ties between families cannot be ignored, and it was up to him to decide whether he still wants to live with Prisca or not. You cannot force a man to live with a woman. If he has decided to call it quits with our daughter, so be it. I pleaded with him, but he was adamant and unforgiving," Patrick was quoted as saying.

The cs for arts and sports have not yet publically commented on the death of his ex-wife
