A section of leaders from the azimio la Umoja coalition tells president William ruto to deliver his promises to kenyans during the campaign period and cease pointing fingers at the past regime.
The legislators were also critical of the national government's borrowing spree, which they had vehemently opposed during their campaigns. They asked the current administration to focus on important issues affecting kenyans at the moment, such as the high cost of living and heavy taxes.
The leaders have stated that they will not back down in their efforts to hold the government accountable for how they are currently spending taxpayers' money, which they claim is being misappropriated.
These demands come at a time when the injunction of the azimio coalition is set to expire at midnight. The leader of the azimio la Umoja coalition, Raila Odinga, had given the kenya kwanza administration a 14 days request to lower the cost of living, or he would initiate mass action.
