According to Kenya's first lady, Mama Rachel Ruto, prayer is the only answer that can save Kenya from adopting Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) customs.

The First Lady opposed same-gender marriage when speaking at a church event in Meru, and she said the Faith Diplomacy Office would take prayers to the rest of the nation to pray for the same.

The family, which comprises a mother, a father, and children, is an institution we wish to strengthen. African culture and the Bible both forbid homosexuality. Mama Rachel urged everyone to uphold traditional family values.

The First Lady had already established a Faith Diplomacy Office before this, which, according to her, would promote a culture of prayer throughout the nation.

I want to ask for family-related prayers. She continued that the family has evolved into an institution under intense attack.

She advised Kenyans to pay greater attention to family issues because the LGBTQ discussion threatens the family structure.

Mama Rachel is renowned as a devout Christian who slays her "enemies" while bowing down.

She has led Kenyans in several prayer sessions and, on one occasion, even interceded for rain.

Mama Rachel thinks that by praying, the LGBTQ culture will not take over the nation.

LGBT acceptance and rights have been a topic of discussion in our nation for a while, with proponents and opponents expressing their views.

This comes in response to the Supreme Court's decision to permit LGBTQ rights organizations to register as non-governmental organizations.

"We respect the Supreme Court's ruling, but it doesn't mean we have to concur with it," stated President William Ruto. We cannot accept same-sex marriages because of our beliefs in Christianity, traditions, and values.
