Member of the Banissa Parliament, Maalim Hassan, will rest at the Lang'ata Muslim Cemetery at 1:45 p.m. today.
The speaker of the National House, Moses Wetangula, also announced the formation of an ad hoc committee to communicate with the family about the funeral plans.
Wetangula expressed his heartfelt condolences to the late Hon. Kulow Maalim's family, the residents of the Banissa constituency, all of his relatives and friends, and the entire country. "On behalf of the entire team at National Assembly, the entire parliamentary fraternity, and my behalf," he said.
President William Ruto remembered Hassan as a devoted public worker.

The late legislator was described as a leader and ardent supporter of Kenyans by the president of the state, according to the statement.
"My condolences go out to the people of the Banissa Constituency on the passing of Kulow Maalim Hassan, their MP. I sympathise with the victim's family, friends, and coworkers. We have lost a passionate supporter of the people and needs of Mandera County as well as a committed public servant".
After an accident in Nairobi, the lawmaker passed away from his injuries. He allegedly took a hit from a boda-boda rider in South C.
His relatives said that he passed away on Tuesday night at the ICU of the Aga Khan Hospital, where he had been admitted.
Eldas MP Adan Keynan praised Kullow as a diligent public servant who carried out his responsibilities honourably.
"I offer my sincere sympathies to the family, friends, and residents of Banisa in the wake of this tragic loss and pray that Allah (SWT) would give them sabre and solace in their hour of need. His soul may Allah bestow Jannatul Firdaws. "Amiin Amiin," Keynan exclaimed in awe.
West Kibwezi MP Mwengi Mutuse was lauded. Kulow was a lovely man who gave his all to oversight and other legislative responsibilities.
"I have worked over the previous few months alongside Hon. Kulow in the 13th Parliament's Public Accounts Committee, where our chemistry was really starting to develop. Hon. Kulow was a decent man who gave his all to his oversight and other parliamentary responsibilities. May God grant him eternal peace", said Mutuse.
