According to a Tifa Research survey, Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki is a member of President William Ruto's Cabinet who performs the best.

According to the study, which was performed across the country and released on March 29th, Kindiki scored a 26 per cent approval rating, followed by Education CS Ezekiel Machogu's (10%) and Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi's (10%) ratings (four per cent).

Ababu Namwamba, the CS for sports, and Mithika Linturi, the agricultural CS, each received 3%.

The statement said, in part, that "much fewer supporters of Azimio supplied any names at all as supporters of national coalitions, with the same applying to those who purported to support neither coalition."


The high cost of living was identified by 48% of respondents as the biggest issue facing Kenyans in their immediate surroundings. Hunger and drought (25 per cent), unemployment (13 per cent), and water infrastructure (3%), among other things, were next.

More Azimio supporters than Kenyan Kwanza supporters said they frequently or consistently went to bed hungry, with 17% of respondents reporting this ( 20 per cent vs 14 per cent).

The opposite is also true, with more supporters of Kenya Kwanza (56 per cent) than Azimio supporters claiming that the ailment has never harmed them (44 per cent).

Also, 29% of those surveyed noted that the Hustler Fund's introduction was more than any other expansion of the electrical grid each earned three, three, and two per cent.

2% of the respondents said they believed in Ruto's administration's ability to help people experiencing poverty with money or jobs.

In a recent assessment by Infotrak ranking Ruto's Cabinet during Kenya Kwanza's first 100 days in power, CS Kindiki was also named the best-performing CS.
