Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has asked President William Ruto not to let the weekly Azimio protests derail his mandate.
The DP told the President he must deliver the country's economic transformation and raise Kenyans' living standards.
"We encourage you to stay focused and not be swayed by the critics. Keep your eye on the ball, and you will succeed "He stated.
On Friday, he spoke at the KICC in Nairobi during the Public Service Commission's launch of the Values and Principles Compliance Report 2021-2022.

Gachagua stated that the President took the oath of office and swore to uphold the Constitution's fidelity. Those urging him to violate the supreme law by insisting on a handshake are "being unfair to him."
"Our Constitution makes no mention of a handshake agreement. It isn't there, "He stated.
Raila Odinga, the leader of the Azimio movement, has increased pressure on President William Ruto by calling for twin weekly mass demonstrations demanding that the President act and lower the cost of living.
He has also demanded that the reconstituting of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission be halted and restarted, accusing Ruto of attempting to fill vacant positions on his own.
Raila also wants data from IEBC servers made public to determine the outcome of the August 9 presidential elections, which he claims he won with 8.1 million votes to Ruto's 6.9 million.
The former prime minister has also demanded that the four dissenting former IEBC commissioners who contested Ruto's victory be reinstated.
Ruto and Gachagua have dismissed those demands as unrealistic, claiming that they were elected fairly and squarely and accusing Raila of attempting to force a handshake, as he did with retired President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"The President has no authority to reinstate IEBC commissioners." "He doesn't have those abilities," Gachagua stated.
"Because it is not his job, the President has no idea where the server is kept."
In a thinly veiled mock statement, the DP attacked the opposition, claiming they were looking for the server in the most unlikely places.
"This server is being sought in Muukuru Kayaba, on Koinange Street, and I'm not sure where else. We'd also like to know where it is "He stated.
