After a section of members from East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) MP Kanini Kega and former Ndaragwa MP Jeremiah Jeremiah Kioni battled over party leadership, the Jubilee party has been asked to evacuate the buildings they now occupy as party headquarters.
This comes after a group led by MP Kega was seen hurling rocks and other things into the Kileleshwa building on Wednesday after being denied access.
Nominated MP Sabina Chege and Eldas MP Adan Keynan, among others, joined MP Kega.
According to a subsequent statement from the property's owner, the party was ordered to leave the premises for violating the lease terms.

"Today as you are aware goons descended on DIKDIK GARDENS due to your occupation of my premises," wrote E.W Mbote.
"Your tenancy has exposed our neighbours and neighbourhood to unwarranted insecurity."
Kioni and MP Kega are battling for control of the party, with Kioni reportedly unwilling to relinquish his position as party Secretary-General to make room for MP Kega.
On February 9th, the Jubilee Party's National Executive Council announced a move, replacing Kioni with Kega. The Registrar of Political Parties authorized the amendments, but the Political Parties Dispute Tribunal overturned them.
Kioni and the party's Vice Chairperson David Murathe and National Treasurer Kagwe Gichohi were suspended for conducting the political outfit's business.
The party determined at the NEC meeting that MP Kega would replace Kioni, MP Keynan would replace Murathe, and Raychel Nyamai would serve as National Treasurer.
Kioni, on the other hand, claims that the meeting was held without the members according to the rules of the law and hence requests that his suspension be lifted.
Following the deadlock, MP Keynan encouraged Kioni to quit quietly and in compliance with the party's constitution.
