According to local authorities, two ultralight aircraft collided on Sunday near an airport in northern Spain, killing four persons.
According to the regional government of Catalonia, firemen were alerted by a witness who saw the jet lose altitude and crash. They found one plane on fire in a bushy area adjacent to the Moia airport north of Barcelona.
After the fire was put out, two dead bodies were found inside the ultralight (plane), according to the statement.
Some hours later, firefighters located a second damaged plane about 300 meters (984 feet) from the first, with two dead people on board.
