The nation's government is investing in the digital economy to give young people more opportunities.

Ruto stated that the government is committed to making Kenya an ICT innovation hub to maximize the potential of the digital economy.

He stated that the government had implemented robust measures to secure the digital economy's development.

He highlighted the National ICT Policy, the Kenya Start-Up Act, the Data Protection Act, the Digital Economy Blueprint, the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act, and the Konza Technopolis project.

"The digital transformation agenda is real, achievable, and founded on a strong institutional framework," he stated.

President Ruto addressed at the Sarit Centre in Nairobi on Thursday during the launch of Fingo Africa powered by Ecobank.

According to the President, financial technology will improve transactional efficiency, increase security, and safeguard private data in the banking industry.

Cabinet Secretaries Eliud Owalo, Njuguna Ndung'u, and COG Chairperson Anne Waiguru were present.
